At UltraEdge, sustainability is a core part of how we design, operate, and grow our infrastructure. We focus on reducing our environmental footprint, building strong and inclusive teams, and ensuring responsible and transparent operations across our value chain.

Rooted in local regions, we stay close to our clients and communities, delivering infrastructure aligned with local needs and supporting regional development.

Reducing our carbon footprint

• We are investing in energy efficiency and continuously improving the performance of our data centers, as we aim to continue lowering our Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) ratio and drive operational excellence.

• Our ISO 50001 certification supports a structured approach to energy management and continuous improvement.

• We are building and tracking a decarbonization pathway aligned with the Paris Agreement.

• We have completed our carbon footprint assessment based on the GHG Protocol.

Managing water responsibly

• Water is used in our cooling systems, which are primarily designed as closed-loop systems, recirculating water to significantly reduce ongoing consumption.

• We monitor alignment with future Water Usage Effectiveness (WUE) thresholds, with a focus on continuously improving water efficiency performance.

Reducing waste and material use

• We strive to reduce waste and material use across all our activities, notably through circular economy initiatives.

Ensuring data security and trust

• Our ISO 27001 and HDS certifications ensure the security of our clients’ and end users’ data.

Developing our people

• We are actively building inclusive, high-performing teams, grounded in strong values of diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring people from all backgrounds have the opportunity to thrive.

Protecting the health and safety of our people

Supporting communities and local initiatives

• We are committed to engaging with our local communities, including implementing projects such as the Ionaka farms initiative.

Supporting a stronger local food network

Since September 2024, we have partnered with IONAKA Farms to grow fresh fruit and vegetables. This production benefits all individuals and families supported by the Secours Populaire charity.

The farming methods employed are highly efficient in both water and land use. No plant protection products are used. Nutrients are delivered through a closed system, never exposed to air or rain, which prevents contamination from urban pollution. Greenhouses can also be heated using recovered waste heat from our facilities.

The produce is grown locally and harvested at peak ripeness from March to November, in line with natural seasonal cycles, ensuring outstanding freshness and flavour.

Ensuring compliance, integrity and transparency

• We uphold high standards of integrity and are committed to ensuring compliance, with a goal to have no incidents of non-compliance with applicable laws and regulations across our operations.

• Our governance framework is supported by a Code of Conduct, anti-corruption measures, and whistleblowing mechanisms to ensure accountability and ethical behavior across the organization.

• We carry out voluntary sustainability reporting based on MidCap and post-Omnibus CSRD frameworks, supporting transparency and continuous improvement of our ESG performance.

Ensuring ESG governance and oversight

• A monthly CSR steering committee, involving executive management, oversees ESG priorities, monitors progress, and supports continuous improvement across our ESG initiatives.
